Just a Memory

When you touch me

I feel passion burning--

More intense than a thousand flames burning all across the world,

And dancing--

Across my skin as the shadows dance on the faces of those gathered around.

When you touch me

I feel strength gripping--

So firmly I can fall into you without the slightest reservation

And holding--

So tight, it’s as if I’m suffocating in the warmth of your embrace.

When you touch me

I feel care reaching--

Gently caressing like you would a baby with soft fingertips of adoration

And accepting--

So, like the child secure in his parents’ love, I love back full of trust and faith.
