"But Sanctify the Lord God in Your Hearts" from I Peter 3:15
God holds a set apart place in my heart;
From this place He'll never depart.
Though things and others will call for my love,
My heart's reserved for God above.
His will and desires I want to be mine,
His heart for the lost through me to shine,
I long for Him His wisdom to impart,
That's why I hold Him in my heart.
My affections should reflect things above;
Thus, with the world, I'm not in love.
There's no struggle between things and the Lord,
God is my joy and heart's reward.
